  • It definitely feels like spring is just around the corner when the birds and the lizards begin to visit.
I had two very lively wrens visit my porch today, and one lizard.
    Windows open...
Ah, the early signs that spring is on its way.

  • I feel much better knowing there is a lizard in you life.

  • What kind of lizard?
I love that spring is on the way! :-)
BTW, I just tried to put a comment on your Prov. 31 post, and couldn't do so, but I wanted to say that it is excellent! I'd love to hear it preached on Father's Day!! ;-)

    • Hehe - I mistakenly deleted the Proverbs post, and had to re-enter it. You must have caught me in transition. :-D
Lizard is just your common anole. (My daughter gets annoyed at me for calling them gecko's.) First I've seen for many months. In the spring and summer, I usually have 3 or 4 regular anole visitors to my porch. :-)

  • Ah... the added note on "vir" was also good.
I was wondering about the lizard because in the Philippines we called the happy little lizards that ran around our house (& were our friends due to the fact that they ate mosquitoes)... geckos. Of course the weather was tropical & so they were always around. It definitely isn't lizard weather yet here in OH! ;-)

    • Yes, I keep trying to convince my downstairs neighbor that the lizards are good. They really keep down the bug population... spiders and wasps included. My neighbor began chasing them away with moth balls this past summer and the bugs were so much more of a problem, especially the spiders... webs everywhere every time I went on my porch. Ugh. I love when the anoles are around on a regular basis. I talk to them and they tilt their heads to listen. They seem to like whenever I have music playing too, or when I sing. :-)

  • I was visited by a mosquito, I could have used you lizard! Have a great weekend, the weather here is promising spring also, and delivering spring thunderstorms. I like thunderstorms though!

    • We had a brief torrential storm today too. No thunder, but the wind and rain was like a tropical storm. Any chance that you are in North Carolina too? :-)

  • My dog Coop and I saw a baby lizard today! Coop got all excited! :-D I am worried about the lizard though...it's too cold for him to be out.

I'm surprised Frank didn't share his famous Lizard Poem! :-)

I hope you are having a great weekend!
    Yay for Spring arriving soon!

    HUGS!!! :-)
