This is another very poor poem, but meatloaf is not an easy prompt after all, is it?
Meatloaf
gets a bad rap, or rep -
reputation
I personally find meatloaf quite conducive
to my digestion.
For my husband it was associated with a large family,
a diminished budget.
My bet, is he often tried to feed his, to his pet.
So I never made meatloaf for my husband.
It did not, for him, bring fond memories,
but as a single, I have found many good recipes.I like mine best with cranberry... ground turkey, instead of beef. The cranberry baked on top
keeps the meat nice and moist.
In other notes:
The weather here has been beautiful... perfect... so I have been getting outside a bit more.
I've also been busy passing the time watching the latest show that I've gotten hooked on... the Duggars...
they are the family with... I don't know... something like 19 kids, or maybe even more by now.

The memories have a great importance in what we love to eat or not .
You are very affectionate to not hurt your husband .

meatloaf did go a long ways in our family of 10.
I understand how your hubby felt. I am from a family of eight children and there were always others hanging around...so my Mom made a lot of meatloaf and hamburger recipes and meat-less meals.
And I like the meatloaf connection to the Duggar family!
Your turkey meatloaf sounds divine!
HUGS!!!
Hmm... the meatloaf with cranberries sounds yummy! So often our memories influence our likes & dislikes -- foods & other things, too.
I like your poem, & I'm with you -- the couple, their 19 kids, & their DIL, 3 grands, etc. Great Christian families!
Your view of meatloaf is the same as mine---its origin is in poverty. lol
Have a nice Sunday, Lynn.
