A week or so ago... 9 days to be exact... I wrote about how odd it was to have thunderstorms in winter...
Later my daughter informed that thunderstorms in winter is supposed to mean snow in two weeks...
Well, guess what... we are supposed to have snow this Wed. ... 12 days after that thunderstorm.
Weird, huh?
A winter storm watch is now in effect for all of southeast North Carolina. It is time to prepare!!![Edit: My daughter says they are predicting as much as 6 inches... as little as 3.
That is very uncommon here at the coast. I must be getting old though,
because rather than being excited, I am content with the thought of just hunkering down
and staying indoors. Not the usual for me. Oh, I'll still be excited to watch it falling,
but through my wonderful picture windows... inside where its warm and cozy
with my hot chocolate, tea, or coffee.
Ah, who am I kidding...
who wants to take bets that I go out and walk in it anyway?
I don't even know which way to bet on that one. lol]

Wow! I had never heard that before! Xanga is quite an educational as well as fun and friendly place to be!
Stay warm and safe!
Hehe - Yes, fun, and I have learned things from my Xanga friends too.
It is kind of fun to get snowed in for a few days. I don't like the cold too much. I wish our climate was more like North Carolina.
I meant to say I wish our climate was more like North Carolina! Good grief! I can't go back and edit my comment.
I know that lack of edit feature drives me nuts.
Hi Lynn. I think you should go out into the snow as long as the temperature is not threatening to your nose.
You can hunker down when you are 80. lol
Have a good week.

I never heard that. She's smart.
She used to want to be a meteorologist.
She's a science girl... ended up in Marine Biology and works at the aquarium. Sounds like a fun job right? Except she informed me that they have to get in the water and scrub tanks on Tuesday... the day the high temp. is meant to be 28 degrees. :-0
