Matthew Kelly on RelevantRadio - Rediscover
If Jesus were to come up to you and say,
"Hey, Matthew, who do the people in America say that I am?"
and if I were to say,
"I don't know Jesus, they think you were this really nice guy.
How do you think Jesus would react?"Me...
I think Yahshua would look so very sad, would shake His head and say, "How disappointing, they never knew me."13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say I am?” (Mark)
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.” (Mark)
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. (Matthew)

I like Jesus in Colossians 2. What He did on the cross is amazing--more than dying for our sins as amazing as that is.
I used 1 John 2:22-23 today in my blog and it once again makes Jesus very exclusive as to the knowing God and going to heaven. That will always be controversial.
without God I am nothing
either there is a God or there isn't
I believe there is.
