  • Ok, so I visited Blogspot today, and it didn't seem half bad.  I was even able to leave a comment on Books4me's blog.  So maybe I'll end up moving over there.  I doubt I will ever get to be as creative on Blogspot.  Xanga began as my creative outlet.  I don't know what to do.  It seems such a shame to dessert Xanga, and I don't want to, but I am afraid that Xanga 2.0 will be much too changed.

  • I would encourage you not to get to quick on the trigger. Learning and setting up elsewhere will definitely be trickier than Xanga 2...and lonelier.

  • @quest4god%40revelife - I currently have 7 friends who have set themselves up on blogster... so depending on where they choose to do most of their blogging from here going forward... I'm afraid that since so many jumped ship early, they will find that they do not return to Xanga. It would be a bit much to keep up with two blogs I say. I wish they had all waited it out, then I wouldn't feel so torn.

  • I'm on blogger for totally different reasons than the whole Xanga "scare". I like it there actually, and am finding it as easy as Xanga. I remember feeling confused with Xanga when I first started out 9 years ago. I will probably keep both places, though the blogger will be more fun stuff, nothing really heavy or deep. My xanga page is private and I can write what I want here. But hopefully people will visit my other "home" as well. Have a great weekend Lynn. Did you watch the latest Bachelorette?

  • @MadraysGarden - Did I watch the Bachelorette? Oh Yes, and anxiously awaiting the final episode! I forgot I actually had one friend who was a watcher. I pretty much gave up on asking anybody anymore if they were watching. Wish you ween't so far away and we could watch the final episode together.

  • My mom and sister were here and I missed it. I'm gonna have to check and see if I can see it from "on demand". I haven't been watching them but caught a commercial for the second to the last episode and HAD to see what was going on. LOL.

  • @MadraysGarden - It was definitely a very interesting season. I just find Des to be such an impressive woman, but one who is also vulnerable and really needs, and deserves, good love and care. I don't want to give anything away, in case you get to watch. Had you watched last season... Sean's season, where he let Desiree go home, and picked Catherine in the end?
