Ever seen a blue dragonfly?
(not my photo, but this is what he looked like)
I never knew there were blue dragonflies until the day I went downstairs to water my tomato plants and one was clinging to the post. It was beautiful.
I never knew dragonflies came in so many different, beautiful, colors.
Google dragonfly images and see all the amazing colors that they are. They are beautiful. Today the backyard was just swarming with dragonflies again. They seem to really come out in droves after the heavy rains. We had quite the storms here last night. One rolled through around nine pm and then an even fiercer one rolled through around 11 pm. Expecting more tonight after temp.'s of 90 degrees today. And so the summer begins....The magical things of God...
dragonflies and fireflies... (the fairies... you know, the blue fairy? Did you ever wonder where that came from?)Ecclesiastes 7
8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

I used to love watching dragon flies as a kid--have not seen one in ages.
Dragonflies and hummingbirds do come around here, but not so often as you say. I always appreciate the little creatures that God sends my way (as long as they stay outside)
.
Really enjoyed the video! "Never will I sin again"....if only!
@quest4god@revelife - Hi Norm, I know, that lyric gives me pause every time I hear it too, but the music and the sentiment is so beautiful, and I believe in the power of words. Who knows if we keep telling ourselves a thing the power it has. I know so many people who say that listening to Christian music is what keeps them strong in their walk with the Lord. I am one of those people. Keeping God at the forefront of the mind is the key. Peace and blessings to you. I hope you are having a good weekend. Lynn
@quest4god@revelife - Hi Norm, I realized when I sing with this song I sing ~ let me never sin again ~ I think my favorite part may be ~ let me not implore in vain ~
I am always awestruck to see these Cathedrals. It is astounding to see how skyscrapers are built today... I can't even imagine how in medieval times it was done.
