  • It's very strange how much the moon can move, and change, in a single 24 hour period.  It never rose through my dining room window this Wednesday evening, and it is so very low down, and already only half a moon, where just a few nights ago it was a huge super-moon.

  • I saw that moon! It was beautiful! Thank-you for the kind comments. I feel truly blessed. I'm glad you're my friend too, although I don't know a lot of my Xanga friends personally, I enjoy them. They might all be Homeland Security people spying on me too! Oh well, I'm pretty boring, really. Have a great day!

  • the moon is fascinating! i homeschooled the kids and we didn't spend nearly enough time on the moon (hahaha)  it would be awesome to keep a moon journal for a year!  i'm adding it to the list. (i'm a notebook and journaling addict lately)--karen

  • @lifeontheWink - Hi Karen, Me too. I journal everything... makes you much more aware of what God is doing... the signs of the times. I feel very drawn for some reason. Most people go about their days oblivious to the changes happening around them. I had a good laugh about 'spending more time on the moon'. I get updates on facebook, from earthsky, that are extremely interesting and that keep me informed. I wish I was better at understanding astronomy. I am drawn to the night sky. I feel there is a story being told there. I think the ancients understood this better than we do today.

  • @mcbery - Hi Miriam, I sort of would welcome homeland security people to spy on me... be nice to know someone was paying attention to the things I am paying attention to. I think it might be fun to be a homeland security spy. I just wouldn't want to see people's 'dirty laundry' so to speak... anything objectionable to my senses, if you know what I mean. I'm not that kind of person, but I would like to provide a useful service to my country, and people in general... to do service to God, even better. Gotta be on the inside to do that though. Right now we are being eaten away by a disease from the inside. Need to get inside to attack it. Well, enough of my ramble... maybe I'll get on my feet and do some rambling now.

  • My son is fascinated with the moon.

  • @HUMOR_ME_NOW - Hi Frank. I'm fascinated with the whole universe... the whole of creation.

  • Moon attracts us like it attracts the tides.
I remember playing with the moon that went from a side of the windshield to the other when we drove on a sinuous road
    Love

  • @fauquet - Hi fauquet, I sometimes have a double moon when I look through my dining room window... I have yet to solve that mystery. My oldest daughter has always been afraid of the moon, starting when she was about 3 years old. She still has no affinity for it at age 26. I called her to go out and look at the super moon we had last week and she said, "Mom, I don't like the moon." lol I thought it would be romantic for her and her husband to step outside under it.

  • @JstNotherDay - My son somethimes talks me to death about this. He is an advid Creationist.

  • @HUMOR_ME_NOW - It must mean too, that he is a thinker.

  • @JstNotherDay - Yes he is. I just want to know where the next Starbuck is located.
