When I had to move, and I was thinning out some of my material belongings, I sold
my electric typewriter... now I wish I had it back. There are just some things
easier to do on a typewriter than on a computer.
I can't decide though, whether to purchase another electric typewriter, or to buy
a manual one. The manual one costs more than the electric... double in fact...
$80 or $90 for an electric.... $159 for a manual. Think maybe there is a message
in there?

Thanks for the post and pictures of Tom and me. I'm so glad we got to meet.
We had almost 57 years together. God is good.
We have an old manual typewriter and there is nowhere that can repair it
(has a sticky key. There are tons of them at garage sales and thrift shops
and can be had for a small price. A good deal if you can find the ink
ribbons to fit.
We were blessed to meet Gracia & Tom last year ~ such a sweet couple ~
Yes, what to do! I'd go with electric!

I have a very old manual typewriter...I found it at an antique store
and loved the look of it, so I got it!
HUGS!!! and hope you have a happy whee-kend, SweetLynn!
I'm anticipating a time coming when we might be off-grid,
and I'm thinking that a manual typewriter could prove a
valuable thing to have.
Electric typewriter is no good, with no electric.... same with,
what happens to all of the people so dependent on their computers.... ?
