Have you ever wished you could live for a time in someone else's shoes?
I can remember having this wish ever since childhood...
just to try out someone else's life and see if it felt any different.
I don't think I have. I figure everyone has their own problems and God has
made us all unique to handle our own.
no ~ I have enough trouble living in my own ~
With my luck, if I asked God to let me live someone elses life I would walk up
in an Alaskan cabin in the dead of winter while giving birth to twins.
Hahahaha - Thanks for the laugh Frank. You cracked me up.
I have sometimes wanted to have a peek at others's lives but never had
the urge to switch places... wasn't there a TV show where people switched
places and had to deal with situations so very different than the lives
they had lead?
As a kid, I always wanted to know what it would feel like to be the popular kid.
Now as an adult I was thinking of my best friend... we both have 3 children...
none of hers are likely to marry or have children... 2 still live at home...
mine are all on their own.
I was wondering what that might feel like... to know you won't have
grandchildren... I am about to be a grandmother, and I have mixed
feelings about bringing a child into this world.
I have, too! But, I'm not signing up now...they'd probably make me a nun! (Shocked face!) And I am so NOT nun-like!
HUGS!!!
hehehe - I wanted to be a nun... to this day I feel pulled and often wish
I could join an order... like I missed my calling... or more accurately
ignored God calling me, and did my own thing. :-/
note: I fixed your shocked face. Hope you don't mind.
A French expression says " We have to find a shoes going well with our feet ' !!
It is so true that I rarely buy shoes , I take them to the shoes repairer.
Love
Michel
