  • A letter I need to send:

    Dear Mr. President,
Can we just be like the rest of the world and stop changing the clocks two times a year?

  • I am glad that my phone clock changes automatically. I will have to manually change a couple others. (yes I know I already was supposed to by now). There's one clock in my gaming system that I never bothered changing since last time we were supposed to, so now after all these months,it's finally correct again.

    • I do that more and more often now too... just never get around to changing them, and voila it's time to change them back again, and so, no need. lol

  • lol That is not asking for much. It should be granted immediately.

My favorite line in the movie Midway was when Fonda said several times, "Do it immediately."

  • Amen to that ~

  • Hah! But much of the rest of the world changes time too -- it's not only us!!!
If we stop changing, I vote for Daylight Saving Time!

  • Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii and Arizona. The Navajo Nation
participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, even in Arizona, due to its
large size and location in three states.

Personally I wish they would just decide on one time and leave it alone, I
only had two kids in Sunday School yesterday morning and I was so worried
about waking up on time I didn't sleep hardly at all =(((

  • Ha! You should send your letter to your state's governor - it is the individual
state that decides to change or not. Indiana for the longest time didn't change...
then the Republican governor decided to make the whole state change.
Now we have several counties that are near IL or KY that are on a different
schedule than the rest of the state (thanks to petitioning the state legislature).
It is so confusing that I'd love to go back to the way things were a few years ago!!

  • I have never understood DST...but then I'm a bit dense! ;-)
    HUGS!!! :-)
