  • watching the world implode....

Iran still pursuing its deadly goals?
    trouble brewing in S. America?
civil/racial unrest brewing in the U.S.?
    deadly kills in Australia, Pakistan?
evil of ISIS going unchecked by the muslim world, even as they proclaim 'religion of peace',
yet do they harbor in their hearts joy at what ISIS is doing? What does that make the muslims?
agents of evil? victims of evil?

listening to the radio this morning I can see it is time to tune in to the BBC news again,
there is much I have been missing...
    Russian ruble collapses?
    Obama gives over Cuba?
If the Cubans are happy about it, why should we have any reason to be dissatisfied?

    The Great Dictator

Orson Welles' refusal to allow Hearst to kill production and distribution of the movie,
    Citizen Kane

What is happening with Sony/N. Korea?

In the past the U.S. has not allowed its voice to be silenced...
    what is happening to us?

How do we get people to just behave decently? Which begs the question...
Have we behaved decently? and are we reaping the repercussions of our own behavior?

  • I don't think most Cubans here are happy about it the Cuba thing. I guess we'll see.
Someone said the Russian economy collapsed in 1998? I wonder why it's there again?
So much going on that we give it to God to sort out which is what we should have done
in the first place. :D Doesn't mean we need to be quiet, does it? :)

  • My guess is things will get worse unless God in His mercy slows down all the hate, killing,
beheading, girls being kidnapped in mass, public murder/suicides killing hundreds at a time, etc.

    The planet is a mess.

  • Things seem so sad and so crazy in our world. :-(

But, I am reminded...Christmas is agape love tugging mankind back to God
with the powerful clasp of a tiny hand reaching out from a bed of straw.

    (((HUGS)))

  • Just want to wish a Blessed and Merry Christmas. Taking things slow here. John had surgery
on Dec 15th. I have first knee replacement on Feb 18th. 2015 not going to be a enjoyable year,
but one filled with lots of pain. Hopefully I'll gets lots of reading done. Hope all is fine
with you on your side of the world. <3 Marilyn (thistlepatch)
