I just stepped out to get the mail, and, Yikes! It is frigid for a mere 45 degrees.
There is a brisk wind blowing. I came in and checked the online weather report and
it gives a feels like temp. of 38. They aren't kidding... feels more like 32!I think maybe I will go dig out some Christmas decorations now, to hopefully put up tomorrow?
I can't decide if I really want to be bothered with it or not.

I know the feeling ~ nowadays, I just think about having to put it all away again!
I think about all the stuff that has to be moved and put away somewhere to make room,
and it takes me so long to put everything up, that it is barely up a week before Christmas
is already past and it all has to come down again.
I wanted to at least get out the stuff to decorate my front porch though,
to make things cheery for my neighbors. I like being able to look out and
see their cheery decorations and want to return the favor.
I did get a wreath on the front door and a little tree up ~ now today, I'm hoping to get my nativity scene out. Then I only have to decorate the dinner table a few days before the family arrives ~ January should be much more relaxed ~ we hope!
Parhaps , not too much décorations would be sufficient . Finally what is important is our hearts are rejoicing. We do not have anY decoratins outside in my area! EXCEPT THOSE OF THE CiTY .

I like summer. I refuse to accpet cold weather even if it forces me to fly to Hawaii.
I struggle every year with the question of decorations -- usually it depends on whether I'll be home for Christmas. This year I'll be away for 2 weeks, and I'd rather not have to take the decorations down the day after I come home!
I love the Christmas decorations and lights! I always think they are worth the time and effort!
But, each year I keep it simple...much less stuff than when the kids were little.
HUGS!!!
