morning thoughts, afternoon glory, and tea time
morning thoughts:
Sometimes I really wonder if we do have free will, or if that isn't just an illusion (think The Matrix)
and all is pre-ordained or controlled by some other power. What if someone else has the pen and is writing the story...
but why would they create such faithless characters that produce so much hurt?afternoon glory:
It's so amazingly warm today - another 'feels like Florida' day -
put on the shades, stretch out on the lounge in the sun, and imagine I am on my porch at the beach,
and that is not traffic I am hearing, but the sound of the wind off of the ocean, kind of day.
Close my eyes and listen to the twittering and chirping of birds, the scurrying of squirrels,
and even the knocking of a woodpecker (the very loud knocking of a woodpecker), kind of day.
While the warmth of sun on skin soothes.
This is what I love about living here.time for tea:
and typing on the computer

NOT warm here today, but nice and sunny ~ beautiful, but pretty chilly ~
Listening to nature is such a peaceful experience! And to feel the sun on your face is the best!
Hope you enjoyed your cup of tea!
HUGS!!!
PS...now I'm thinking about Woody Woodpecker.
I like the sound of your afternoon glory (as opposed to a morning glory)
What type of tea do you prefer, and do you take it with one lump or 2? Oh wait, noone uses sugar cubes anymore. Do you add milk? (It's supposed to neutralize the tanic acid that stains teeth.) I live in the south and am the odd girl out since I prefer my tea hot, though most people here are obsessed with iced tea, asking "Sweet or unsweet.", assuming everyone would want it cold.
just reread my comment. I didn't mean to imply I don't like morning glories. Those flowers are lovely.
Hi Crystal... I think you're the only person that picked up on the 'morning glory' thing.
I only tried milk

I gave up sugar in my tea about 4 years ago when I started looking for ways to battle inflation
(in my body... not the economic kind... lol) but I did use sugar cubes.
in my tea a few times... never became a fan. Milk goes in coffee... sugar goes in tea, for me.
I am in the south also, North Carolina, which is even more 'southern' I think than Florida, since
so many snow birds have moved to Florida from up north... and I know exactly what you mean about sweet tea.
In the south they like it REALLY sweet. I do still enjoy a cup of Bojangles sweet tea every so often.
I drink all sorts of teas... at any given time I have an assortment of at least half a dozen.
I like English breakfast, English afternoon, Irish breakfast, Darjeejing, earl gray and lady gray,
and Prince of Wales is one of my favorites. I also drink an assortment of green teas,
and I often like chamomille before bed.
and that's probably a whole lot more information than you cared for. hehe
The perfect happiness of a beautiful afternoon of December !
Love
