  • Thought Frank would be interested. Have you visited this island Frank?
    lava flow Hawaii

The slow-motion disaster continues at Kilauea.  So far, the lava has destroyed one home. http://bit.ly/1EKAhPD

  • Wow, what a photo!

  • Absolutely amazing , the way the lava moves so slowly and nothing stands in its way long. The building up of the future is the destruction of the past, and we cannot stand in its way.
I have never been to that island, but have always wanted to hang glide from the top of Oahu. They say it's about 10 hours flying your wing from top to bottom.... one day.
Thanks for stopping by my site.... I'm going to figure out how to link my name yet :)

  • I saw a bit of this and was glad I didn't live near a volcano in paradise! When we studied history in school or somewhere I remember the story of a man in Mexico who was plowing his field and a volcano started erupting. I dreamed volcano dreams! :P

Hope you have a blessed week-end!

  • I have not visited that island yet, but we have friends on it.

  • We cannot stop a volcano .I have compassion for those who lost their house .
    Love

    • I think it is amazing that only one home has been caught and lost in the lava flow.
So fortunate that it has not been whole villages as I had been expecting.
