What right do people, who wear their pants halfway to their ankles, have to be offended
when they don't get respect? I say the onus is on them.
So tired of people yelling race, and prejudice, when they make no efforts to change perceptions.
- I must learn to embrace change -
I heard a devotion today asking... is there something maybe God is asking you to look at in a different way....
This post was prompted by a question asked over at murisopsis site.
I am one who holds on… God is trying to make me let go.
I am currently wanting to hold on to the bits and pieces of the life I built and had…
God seems to be telling me to let go… I do not seem able… I do not know how…
I don’t want in a few years to wish I still had the things that I would be letting go of.
I keep hearing the words of Yshwe(known as Jesus)…
‘if you want to follow me….’
… ‘go and sell all that you have…’
… in other words… let go.
I find myself perpetually asking God’s forgiveness for not letting go. Why do I seem so unable?
… because of my kids… I want some things left for them.
I want those things to be there to comfort them someday…. but what if someday never comes…
what if I am holding on to things they will never care about?
Changes are ahead for me. I am not going to get to enjoy my most enjoyable time of the year.
However, I have found this lovely song for your listening enjoyment.
Shalom aleijem
2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
4 After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
not a cloud in the sky, and yet I hear thunder.... or what sounds like thunder... makes me wonder what I am hearing
Yep - both my son-in-law and my daughter are working today...

In the news - gotta love Great Britain's boldness in speaking out... unlike our wimpy,
worried about being 'politically correct', leaders here in the U.S. ... to our foolish, head-in-the-sand citizens.
At least the Britons aren't afraid to call a spade a spade... to call out what it is clear,
in no uncertain terms, in clear cut, vociferous language
The "root cause" of Britain's terror threat is "Islamist extremism," Cameron said Friday.
The execution of American journalist James Foley is clear evidence that ISIS' fight in Iraq
and Syria "is not some foreign conflict thousands of miles from home that we can hope to ignore," he said.
"It's abhorrent that people who declare their allegiance elsewhere are able to return to
the United Kingdom and pose a threat to our national security," Cameron told lawmakers.
Why do the Brits always seem so much more on top of things and less muddle-headed?
