leaving for other pastures...
I am going to miss my magnolia...
the magnolia's all around the property...
and the maple... whose leaves are the first to turn golden each autumn...
and the golden rod... really ragweed... yes, even that is pretty in the autumn
and the buttercups, the pond, the gators, the turtles, the sounds of the marsh
I will miss this all because I must leave.
Will I find new things to treasure where I go?There are things here that I won't miss as well,
but I will miss the memory of first friendships made when I arrived
how good things looked then, how welcoming.
Bob, and Jimmy, even David, and Linda, then Sharon and Irene, and Pam, and even Hanna... Trina and Jackie and Patrick.
This place has touched me, and I hate losing things that have come to matter.
I am not one to easily leave one pasture in search of another.
I believe in the nurture of the pasture where you already are.

I guess you will be leaving Xanga. You will be missed a lot by me, Lynn.

Hi Frank, I guess eventually yes, I will have to leave Xanga, but I will find you.
Right now I was only sentimentalizing the fact that I will have to leave my current home and find another.
Are you moving far, or just to a different house?
Yes, you WILL find new things to treasure. And you will take your precious memories with you.

Where ever you go, memories go with you....And the people you've come to know as friends, will still be a part of your life....Maybe not as often, but they'll always be just a visit or phone call away.....
