So much for my post of yesterday about the waters not rising...
Just came across this news article online:
HWY 133/River Road closed due to high water, flooding
The Deputy Director of Brunswick Emergency Services says with continued rain expected this evening,
he does not expect the road to re-open until Monday.Hwy133/River Road is the road I live on. See what happens when you never go out?
You never know what's happening right in your own backyard. lol
The road is only closed to the south and east of me, so I am unaffected. I don't often travel that way.
I'm glad I seem to live just far enough in from the coast.

I considered buying flood insurance, but they said the odds of flooding were 100 to 1. lol
Glad you are safe!
Flooding is scary!
HUGS!!!
Hi Carolyn. Thanks. Essentially our sort of flooding just means too much standing water
Frank has rubbed off on many of us.

to drive through. Being near the beach it is a common thing since the water tables are
always high(not drugs
HA! Snort! (not a pig!)
HUGS for a Monday!!!
