Surprised to see today,
what my great grandmother would call,
a 'noisy jay'.
She disliked the bluejays with a passion. I loved their pretty feathers.
Of course I heard mine long before I could find him, in the trees, with my binoculars.
I've never seen one here before.

Oh! I think you seeing the noisy jay is wonderful!
I am very friendly, outgoing, love to chat with people (I've never met a stranger), love to sing, and have fun, etc!!!

Ha, I was just thinking...in life...I might be a noisy jay!
But, I can be quiet like a little finch, too, when I need to be.
HUGS!!!
I like to see blue-jays too (they were much more prevalent when I lived in New England), but they tend to be rather like bullys, pushing the other birds away from the feeders to get what they want.
hehe - Yes, that's exactly why my great grandmother disliked them, they were the bullies of the garden.
Blue Jays are wonderful. We have a few in our backyard--sometimes.
I don't see bluejays very often around here. We must not have the food they like. Maybe we have too many starlings. They are noisy and not very pretty.
I wondered too about the green faced boy. At first we thought he had ice cream smeared all over.
My daughter in law lives in a house in full nature and recently she saw a jay. I envied her because I saw once this bird in my life .
Beautiful nature.
Love
