I complain about the humidity, but I have to say this...
it's the reason gardens flourish around here.
Last night the air was dripping with humidity as it gathered on my window panes.Today...
I love seeing the sunlight on the tops of trees,
the glorious bright light reflecting off the tops of cottonball clouds,
the shimmer of the last remaining raindrops on blades of grass....and the sound of thunder in the not too distant, distance.

Yes, it was humid here too. Then the humidity went away and it's even a little chilly today.
About that tiny scorpion. I don't think they bite people. I was a little freaked out when my son found it in the house! We probably sweep them up when we clean! Shudder!
Hope your day is gorgeous and just the right temperature for a hammock kind of day!
It's interesting in the Summer...there is humidity and then there is the "dry" heat...so we can either boil or fry! Snort!
Makes me feel like a chicken leg!
I love what you describe! Your words paint a picture in my mind and I can, also, hear and feel the thunder!
HUGS!!!
There are times like those, when we see the harmony in the nature. Divine!
Love
