  • Jesus said, do not worry, for what amount of worry will change any outcome...?
    and yet I do... worry...
look at the state of the world...
I do not wish to perish in terror and torture.
I want to be prepared. I want to escape.
    I want, not to worry.
    I want to feel safe.
I no longer feel safe in the world.
Enemies approach from every side and our government seems blind to the approach.
The enemy is within. It has been allowed to cross unsuspected and come within our borders...
like the Trojan horse of old.
I want myself and my children protected and there seems no way.

Jesus said, do not worry, for no amount of worry will change a thing...

Jesus, I put my trust in You. I will fight the fear and I will continue to combat the worry,
and I ask Your gracious help in so doing. Help my faith. Help me be strong. Help me to feel protected.

  • Seems like I have to give my worries to the Lord over and over and OVER! I wonder why fretting comes so natural to us and yet trusting does not ~ sigh ~

  • Yes, we are to trust in the Lord, but we are human, and it is natural to worry sometimes. I hope your prayer is answered, and your worries lessened.

  • We know we should pray and not worry, but when I start to pray, pretty soon I find myself worrying. Then I try to concentrate on praising the Lord. That helps. You'd think by this stage of my life (I'm 76) I'd be a better truster.

    • I think that once we have children the worry never stops... it should be part of the job description... 'Plan to worry... ALOT'. lol I try to focus on giving thanks as well. Wishing you a blessed day. :-)

  • Yes!
    A wonderful blog post! :-)
    It's hard not to worry...especially as a woman and a mom. :-(
Once someone told me my worrying was a sin. So then I started worrying about sinning! ;-) :-D
