The weight is heavy tonight - I don't know why --
Heavy heart for Amy
Heavy heart for Eric~ when we're from sorrow freed
we'll sing on, we'll sing on
when we're from sorrow free
we'll rise and joyful be ~-- no peace for my soul tonight --
~ I wait, I hope, I trust,
in youhaving done all I can ~
~ Oh God ... speak peace into my heart
with just one word, I know
the clouds will part
for you ... are the sunlight on my face
so I'm waiting, I'm waiting
in the raintoday I need to hear you
above the fear of all my doubt
I'm listening for Your voice
through the noise --- ~
~ if I need to be still
give me peace for the moment
whatever Your will, whatever Your willI'm giving you doubt
You give me grace ~

Waiting is tough.
But, keep hoping and trusting.
I am praying for you...heavy hearts are painful.
And I'm praying with you...for Amy and Eric.
(((HUGS)))
I can always count on you to be around when I need someone.
Sometimes prayer is all we can do, and then we must wait, and trust in the Lord to know what is best.
I do not know specifics of the situations that are troubling you, but I will also lift up prayer that all might work out for the glory of God and his Kingdom. I hope your friends/loved ones are ok. A gentle friendly hug offered for those who worry and wait.
Thanks Crystal the prayers and encouragement are much appreciated. It is often my Xanga friends that give me strength, hope, and courage each day.
I don't know who Amy and Eric are. God does and He knows what they need. You need peace and trust. I often feel that way after I go to bed and before I go to sleep. With 7 grown-up kids, there's always at least one who makes my heart heavy. Right now it's my youngest daughter. May God help us to trust in His power and love, and to wait for His timing.
Your words of encouragement are a blessing and a comfort. Thanks.
Beautiful writing and praying, Lynn.
Hi Frank, All the parts enclosed with ~'s are the lyrics from different songs. I often have prayer time with song.
I don't know the situation, either, but I'll say some prayers for Amy and Eric, and for your heart to find comfort and be at rest. Like ata_grandma, I too have a son who weighs heavily on my heart because of the circumstances of his life, and it drives me to my knees often. I find peace in those prayers, trusting that in God's timing, things will work out for him ... for us all.
All of the prayers are such an encouragement and a balm to my heart. Thank you, thank you. Lord please move.
