Facebook is like Walmart, it's gotten so big that I think it will be around a long time. There are still some other smaller, friendly outlets to choose instead, unfortunately most get swallowed by the big comglamorates. Perhaps in time enough people will get discouraged by it's leaked information, and all it's drama and tire of the lemming mentality of joining just because everyone else did, and it may in time dwindle and close, but I don't forsee that for quite some time unfortunately, so while not on it myself, I still hear all of the garbage about it. I hear more negative than positive, so I don't know why people still choose to go there, as if they don't have a choice.  There are other places to meet up with friends and family without the Whole World knowing all your business.
