  • ~ Great is the measure of our Father's Love ~

Today the thunder of God sounds as though He is angry.
The thunder bursts forth as of the fire of a warning shot.
The silence that ensues in between strangely calls to mind that lull of Christmas eve during WWI.

I know that others don't see God in everything... but I do...
and the ancients did... and they were wiser...
In our wisdom we have become fools... blind to the things of God.

God can no longer speak to us, because our ears, they do not hear, our eyes, they do not see.
We are consumed with things of the world... consumed with our daily lives...
with the things which we can produce... the things which we can see...
the things which we can touch.

We are not consumers; we are the consumed...
enslaved by those things which we allow to own us...
driven by our slave masters to obtain more of that which means nothing,
while sacrificing that which means all.
